INFLUENCES Well, as things go, I always see these bands that list their influences on their web pages. Even I have participated in this rather strange custom. At the time I simply said The Cure and Chris Ledoux or something so that the people reading it would at least understand that I love a large variety of music. However, just because I like a song, that doesn't mean I'm always influenced directly by that one song or artist. It is however, the over all collage of music that I take with me to use creatively in everything I do and play. It was this reason that I constructed this INCOMPLETE list of songs & artists that "influence" me. This includes bands that I dislike because I am just as influenced by those artists as I am the others. The songs are all listed in alphabetical order because I am not rating them. Many of the songs are cover songs and I also limited the number of songs I could use by a single artist. This number was usually half of the songs I liked. In the case of the Beatles I came up with 76 good songs so I got that number down to 30 great songs. Anyway, Here are my "influences"...
